A record year for Trackwise
Driven by strong global demand in both the telecom and defence sectors Trackwise is delighted to report record sales in 2014 – shipping some 3.4M units and achieving an 18% sales revenue increase over its previous high recorded in 2012.
“2014 has been another outstanding year for the Company and a great way to have marked our 25th Anniversary” commented Philip Johnston ”In addition to a very healthy sales growth, driven largely by continued roll out of 4G/LTE infrastructure programmes, I am delighted that in tandem, we have been able to strengthen support and service to our customers with new appointments across the operation including the Technical Team. “
Trackwise has been equally busy on product development. 2014 has seen considerable progress made with ‘Improved harness Technology’ including the award of NATEP funding to specifically test the technology against stringent aerospace standards. Additionally, following work carried out under a European Clean Sky research project, LHTFPCB – Large High Temperature Flexible Printed Circuit Boards – Trackwise (UK) and Rogers (Belgium) are now able to offer large format (up to many metres in length) flex PCBs, demonstrated to be capable of operating at temperatures up to 260C for long durations, even in high vibration environments.
Philip Johnston concluded “By any standard, 2014 has been exceptionally busy and I congratulate the Team in Tewkesbury for their outstanding efforts and continued determination to deliver the high levels of service our customers expect of Trackwise.”
