Trackwise achieves upgraded environmental code
Trackwise is delighted to announce that it has achieved ISO 14001:2015 environmental accreditation.
The new standard represents a significant upgrade from the 2004 code, including:
– Increased prominence of environmental management within the organization’s strategic planning processes
– Greater focus on leadership
– Addition of proactive initiatives to protect the environment from harm and degradation, such as sustainable resource use and climate change mitigation
– Improving environmental performance added
– Lifecycle thinking when considering environmental aspects
– Addition of a communications strategy
Mike Prosser, Director of Operations, commented “Taking responsibility for our environment is a key driver within the business. We are therefore delighted to have achieved the improved standard – it undoubtedly provides for a more stringent and focussed management system through which our environmental impact can be robustly measured and, indeed, improved.”
